Yes, another Hebden Bridge show but the connection between Junzo and the small Yorkshire town was very strong. Junzo's first ever UK tour consisted of just London and Hebden Bridge and then every return visit, he came back.

Most of those shows were at the Nutclough, a former tavern turned housing co-op. I'd arranged the 2013 & 2015 shows there but this one took place two weeks before I moved to America and almost a year after I'd left Hebden. The venue themselves booked him, much to my delight and I was there as a mere DJ.

Junzo shows at the Nutclough were all special. Such a small, intimate venue with powerful resonance when you let him loose in there with a locally borrowed vintage guitar amp. Here's another bottle of lightning for your ears.

We Love You Junzo Tokyo, Japan

In February 2022, Junzo fell from a train platform in Tokyo and was rendered unconscious. Junzo suffered intracerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage. He regained consciousness and is now in a rehabilitation hospital.
